Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026. DataStream VPN ("we", "us") operates the VPN service sold at datastreamvpn.com.
1. Who we are
DataStream VPN is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected] or via our contact page.
2. What we collect — and what we do NOT collect
We never log your VPN traffic. We do not monitor, record or store the websites you visit, the content you transfer, or your DNS queries while connected to our service. There is nothing to hand over.
We only collect what is needed to run the service and take payment:
- Account details — email address, password (stored as a one-way hash), and devices you register.
- Payment data — handled by our payment processor (PayPal). We do not see or store card numbers.
- Support correspondence — when you contact us by ticket or email.
- Technical basics — IP address at login and connection timestamps, used for abuse prevention and to run the panel (we cannot tie them to browsing).
3. How we use data
- To provide, secure and troubleshoot your service;
- To process payments and prevent fraud;
- To answer support requests;
- To meet legal obligations.
4. Processors and third parties
- Payment: PayPal (their privacy policy applies to payment details).
- Hosting and delivery: our server providers and Cloudflare (content delivery and DDoS protection).
- Billing platform: WHMCS, which runs our client area.
We do not sell personal data.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for billing/legal reasons. Support emails are kept for service-quality purposes and deleted when no longer needed.
6. Your rights (UK GDPR)
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or object to processing. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies (session/login and security). We do not use advertising trackers.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
